PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE FROM JUNE 24:

Wondrous God, we thank you that you are present with us in the varied storms of life. You anchor us against the fierce winds and rising waters. Again and again we have heard your voice speaking to our troubled, fearful, even faithless hearts – “Peace, be still.” We thank you that our Lord Jesus Christ has endured every storm with us and was faithful to you when the storm clouds of life descended with fury upon him. Today, we are grateful to bring our neighbors, our friends, our families, ourselves and the whole world to you in prayer. We trust in your grace to be present with and comforting for all for whom we pray. We know that you care for us with mercy, grace and help in time of need. And we pray as you have taught us…..The Lord’s Prayer.
